Today, Tues. July 22md, stop by the Paine Cottage for a sneak peak at Paine's Homestead and Sophia Brewster One-Room Schoolhouse. 3-6:30pm
*3:30PM special showing of Liberty Kids in Schoolhouse. Each child that stops by will receive an abbreviated copy of our Thomas Paine Activity Book. Quill pen demonstrations & participation.
*Several cottage exhibit rooms will be opened along with our schoolhouse.
*Our grounds will be available all day. Bring a picnic to enjoy at our picnic area. Leashed, well behaved animals are welcome on our grounds ~ but please remember our carry in - carry out policy.
*Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions.

Super bowl Sunday, Feb. 9th is in the books. It was also Thomas Paine’s birthday. But hey, isn’t his birthday Jan 29th? Yes and no. It all has to do with the Gregorian and Julian calendar changes in 1752 and 11 days lost. Read more about it and let’s wish Paine a “second” Happy Birthday!
