Gemini Shippers Group is a not-for-profit organization that
has been serving its members for nearly 100 years. The group includes Gemini Shippers Association and the Fashion Accessories Shippers Association (FASA).
Gemini offers membership to importers and exporters of various products -Our member commodity classifications include Fashion Accessories, Luggage, Footwear, Promotional items, Giftware, Office Supplies, Apparel, Electronics, Plumbing Supplies, Hard Goods, and Outdoor/Sporting Goods.
Gemini signs global contracts with a wide variety of top tier ocean carriers. Gemini manages the contracts on behalf of its members to keep them competitive, with consistent and stable pricing in this ever changing marketplace.
After consulting with members on their specific transportation needs we pool members’ freight to negotiate aggressive global ocean freight contracts, long term rates and space allocations on behalf of our members. We handle the entire bid process.
Gemini’s contracts are member-specific for rates and terms.
We encourage the relationship between members and ocean carriers at both origin and destination.
