📍 .bk is a new Thai restaurant and wine bar that just opened in Bushwick. “This area deserves good Asian food” says founder Lego, who loved going out in the neighborhood but noticed a lack of food that reminded him of home. They are delivering exactly that - the familiar punch of flavors that thai food packs but in super creative forms. Don’t sleep on their Wild Mannered highballs topped with house-made (!!) Thai tajin.

For Ep. 4 of highlighting amazing local gems, we’re at 📍Fontainhas in Dumbo and instantly understood this spot is so special. Part cozy chai cafe, part wine bar, just a great place to hang out and like owner Arjun says, slow down a bit. The entire place makes you want to catch up for hours over delicious food and drink and not want to leave. If you’re looking for a homey place to work from during the day and/or grab some cocktails / wine afterwards, this is the spot.

Recipe:

- 2-2.25 oz Wild Mannered strawberry basil
- 0.25 oz simple syrup
- 1.5 oz tonic water
- 1-1.5g Littlefoot matcha whisked with 40g warm water
- Ice cubes

Layer, then stir or sip as-is.
