These supercars were spotted flaunting license plates with surprisingly low GPAs.

In the U.S., GPA, or grade point average, is calculated by averaging a student’s course grades, typically on a 4.0 scale where an A equals 4.0. Vanity plates showing low GPAs like 1.6, 1.8, 2.1, and 2.7 sit on cars worth hundreds of thousands, creating a mix of shock and humor. While the owners haven’t explained the meaning, the photos are going viral as a reminder: academic grades don’t always predict life’s success.

Sometimes, the scoreboard in school doesn’t match the scoreboard in life.
