Grief brain is R E A L.

One minute you’re answering emails…the next you’re standing in your kitchen holding your keys, wondering why the microwave is open and where your coffee went.

Loss can hijack your focus, memory, concentration, motivation, and sense of time. Your brain is trying to survive something heavy while the world still expects productivity, deadlines, and remembering your passwords.

So if you’ve been forgetting things, zoning out, rereading the same text 14 times, or walking into rooms with absolutely no idea why you’re there: hi. Welcome. You’re not totally out of your mind. You’re grieving.

What’s the most “grief brain” thing you’ve done lately? 👇

Your grief won’t always feel like it does today.

In our darkest moments, it can feel overwhelming. And it our softest moments, it can feel deceptively peaceful. However you’re feeling isn’t forever. Your grief will shift and change over time because YOU shift and change over time ❤️.
