As part of our and series, we are pleased to present 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙊𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙪𝙨𝙝 𝙑𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮, a performance by Season II, 2026 AiR Jisoo Chung (.nee), organized by NARS Curatorial Fellow Vu Thien An (Thea) Nguyen ().

The performance will take place in parallel with the opening reception for 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙖 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, the Season II, 2026 Residency Exhibition, and NARS Spring Open Studios.

𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘖𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘓𝘶𝘴𝘩 𝘝𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 is a site-specific installation activated through a participatory performance in which the artist and audience collectively engage with the work through the gesture of “cheers.” Using wine glasses, magnetic fillings, and cooking oil, the performance visualizes a codependent connection between each vessel. Emphasizing proximity and collective presence, Our Oily and Lush Vitality imagines connectivity and community as a kind of gravitational power, a force that binds bodies, objects, and social relations together through moments of gathering and exchange.

NARS Foundation is pleased to present 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙖 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, a group exhibition featuring work from the Season II, 2026 International Residency Artists, curated by Vu Thien An (Thea) Nguyen .

A crossword is a word puzzle made of a grid of black and white squares, where words are entries to be formed. 𝘛𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘢 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 takes that structure as a way of thinking through the collective becoming of 13 artists-in-residence of NARS Foundation Season II. While each artist carries a distinct practice, the exhibition invites them to participate in a game: to choose a word, a position, a direction within a collective grid. Meanings emerge through intersections, clues, constraints, and moments of unexpected connection, where each work gains clarity through its relation to one another.

The exhibition will be on view from May 29 through June 16.
