At the United Nations Headquarters , ECOSOC Chamber,
from 6.30 -8.30pm EDT ;

the AFS Intercultural Programs & Civil Society Unit In the United Nations Department Of Global Communications ,

hosted a celebration of

International Youth Day .

The theme for the 27th Session of The Youth assembly was ,

Dare to Reshape The World .

Through Skill -building Workshops , Discussions , ideation Challenges , networking and with the support of experts and practitioners in the field , the young attendees gained the relevant resources and opportunities , necessary prerequisites to reshape the world .

The four thematic themes which the program ,
focused on aligning with the United Nations Secretary
-General’s Report On Our Common Agenda :

Tract 1:
Youth : Peace and Politics ; Education and Climate Action ;

Tract 2:
Global Health : Mental health and COVID-19 ;
effects on Marginalized populations ;

Tract 3:
Global Citizenship :
Leadership and Resilience in todays’ World ;

Tract 4:
Technology and Inclusion :
Technology and Artificial Intelligence .

The objectives were :

1. Connect and engage ;

2. Learn and develop skills and

3. Take action and create impact .

4. The expected outcome are to catalyze transformation
for a better world.

5. The Time to reshape the World is now .

It was organized in conjunction with the opening ceremony
of the 27th Youth Assembly .

attended as delegates of Renew Our Earth Foundation accompanied by the CEO and President ,
Dr. Ugoji A. Eze , Esq .

Ms. Harmony Liu ,

is a high school student in Jericho High School New York. An ardent advocate for environmental issues and a prolific writer on International Affairs and the United Nations.

Ms. Selena Lee ,

a B.A. student of Boston University , MA , formerly worked for Youthline , New Zealand , attended both the opening ceremony at the United Nations Head quarters , New York and the following two days programs at the Convene Center , in New York City .
