On a quest for healthier hair, revitalizing her natural waves/curls, and reducing morning tangles/frizz, I think we found the gentlest, easiest way to protect E’s hair at night ✨💤🌙

We didn’t want anything that was uncomfortable or more than 10 seconds complicated to add to her bedtime routine. After learning more about curly hair care we went with the no-fuss no-muss option of using a silk/satin pillowcase and scrunchie to protect her hair in a loose bun on top of her head. We also opted for silk for the softest smoothest natural fiber, hypoallergenic (E has super sensitive skin), moisture-retaining (awesome for curls), and cooling feel 😌

🧗🏽‍♀️Is your preschooler climbing on EVERYTHING??? E certainly is! Our little sensory seeker from the beginning, at 5 she’s still looking for sensory input from her body’s movements to learn about the world around her 🏃🏻‍♀️

Movements like climbing, swinging, hanging, jumping and anything that gets her up-side down gives her the heavy work, deep muscle, and head tilting movement she’s craving 🤗

While we do what we can to get her the sensory input she fancies outside the house (like trips to the park and indoor play places) the kid is still climbing and hanging off furniture, bannisters, door/refrigerator handles, and her papa at home 🏡
