wears custom Wiederhoeft to attend the 2026 Met Gala 🤎 Styled by

The gown is fully embroidered by hand on tulle, with shiny & matte raffia, chandelier crystals, and glass cut beads. The embroidery techniques include flat and padded satin stitch, appliqué work, French knots, wrapped wood beads, stem stitch, and vermicelli beading. The gown features an interior lace-up corset in n**e satin.

The look is inspired by Look 4 - the Rafi dress - from our SS/25 runway collection “Manifesto.” The Met Gala look focuses on museum-quality, Old-World techniques using natural materials that are reminiscent of the passage of time. 

Raindrop-shaped chandelier crystals and metallic glass against the natural palm raffia evokes fresh dew drops on an ancient, decayed structure. The artwork, derived from Art Nouveau architectural cartouche motifs, have been exploded and collaged. A nod to underpainting and the art of preservation. 

La La’s gown was hand-embroidered in Mumbai and constructed in New York City’s historic Garment District.

sweetest Jenny celebrated her seaside wedding in three Wiederhoeft looks 💖

Jenny’s ceremony look is a custom ensemble featuring a Julie corset and classic skirt in diamond-white silk satin, with hand-embroidered carnations & baby’s breath. Worn with a removable train in crepe back satin, draped satin bolero, and a cathedral-length veil with a baby’s breath floral border.

The afterparty look is from SS/25 runway look 9 - wasp corset in sparkly faille, with hand-embroidered plasterwork bow, and a wasp skirt embroidered with paillettes, paisley lace, and rock crystal fringe.

The civil ceremony look is a take on FW/24 look 15 - the salon jacket & salon skirt in ivory moiré, with gold hardware.
