We are pleased to let you know that on June 18, 2026, the Tolerance Poster Show opened in Novi Sad, Serbia, at Kulturna stanica Eđšeg, marking the International Day for Countering Hate Speech. The exhibition features 30 posters from The Tolerance Project. The exhibition will be open until July 2.
The opening brought together representatives of international organizations, institutions, academia, civil society, media, and youth organizations. The exhibition was accompanied by a panel discussion on public discourse and polarization, reflecting on the importance of preserving spaces for dialogue and mutual understanding in increasingly divided societies.
Opening remarks were delivered by Matilde Mordt, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Serbia, Janoš Babić, Head of Mission of the Council of Europe Office in Belgrade, and Milan Antonijević, Commissioner for the Protection of Equality of the Republic of Serbia.
The Novi Sad edition was organized by the United Nations in Serbia, the Council of Europe Office in Belgrade, the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality of the Republic of Serbia, and Europe House Novi Sad, as part of the broader Tolerance campaign.
We would like to thank all partner institutions and organizations that contributed to bringing the Tolerance Poster Show to Novi Sad. Special thanks to Aleksandra Stamenkovic from the United Nations in Serbia for her effort in organizing this show.
