It seems like every day is a "National" day of some kind, right? However, today's recognized National Parents Day Off is one that caught our eye. Whatever each of our 'parental' role is, in helping to positively-shape our future generation of kids, it is recognized.

All parents deserve a day off. On September 14th, National Parents Day Off brings an opportunity for parents to recharge and get some much-deserved recognition.

Parents are the organizers, cheerleaders, teachers, and directors of the family. They wear many hats and rarely have a moment for themselves. Yet, they are dedicated to raising successful, well-adjusted children. Once school starts, parents have a window of time to take a breather. While we know carpools, after-school activities and school projects seem never-ending, taking time for yourself benefits you and the entire family.

President Joe Biden, declared this week as national Small Business Week.

Today, Sept. 13, Isabella Guzman of the SBA kicked off this Week with an online event addressing over 30K registrants.

This year’s free event will spotlight the resilience of America’s entrepreneurs and the renewal of the small business economy as they build back better from the economic crisis brought on by a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic. National Small Business Week events will continue through September 15, inviting small businesses to participate in educational webinars, presentations, and conversations with Administrator Guzman and leaders from other federal agencies and industries.
