EIGHTY-FOUR YEARS AGO (+ 1 day), 1940:
The N**i luftwaffe was strafing fire-bombs on Britain's largest western port city - Liverpool. Most liverpudlians were trying to escape the nightly onslaught of N**i bombs by taking cover in the city's underground subway tunnels.
One Liverpudlians was an u***d sixteen-year old girl, nine-months pregnant. On that night, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Neither the young mother, nor anyone else in that subway tunnel could possibly have known that the newborn boy would eventually change western culture irrevocably.
