What social services do you think providers should be activating in the field?

We have an entire team who ensures our providers have all the essential content they need in the field. Yesterday, we had an intensive workshop focusing on the vital social services New York EMTs and Paramedics should have at their fingertips – for both their patients and themselves.

We were honored to collaborate with industry leaders in our inaugural session: Amy Eisenhauer and Jenni Salomon from the NYS DOH Bureau of EMS, Joy D'Anca the Director of School Counseling Services at the Manhasset School District, and Meghan Williams, a distinguished co-author of the national 'Psychological Trauma in EMS Patients' course.

We'll be expanding the list of professionals in upcoming sessions.

Several of our members visited the memorial, spoke with providers, and participated in the 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk this past weekend.
