TY to Grove Press for fighting for freedom of speech and allowing writers that were very controversial back then. If I am not mistaken they were the first to publish authors like Burroughs and Bukowski and.. who did you discover that was first published by Grove Press??? I am curious to know the extent of people in 2016 that are grateful to Grove Press.

I just thought Grove Pres deserved a page of its own because it has done so much for the cultural revolution of the 60s and the 70s. Allowing us to finally get to see the works of all those writers from the Beat Generation. I hope those of you who know about all the accomplishments of Grove Pres will agree that hey need better page than just the usual wiki-boring-unattractive- seemingly not of a very important matter- page. You can talk about books you have read that have been published by Grove Press here or any interesting facts related to Grove Press. I hope this page will stir some of the passion you have for all those books that maybe would have not found any publisher who would dare publish their work if it wouldn't have been for the innovative and brilliant views of what was soon to become one of the lighthouse of the writers of the avant-garde.
