April is National Poetry Month so come to the library and create some of your own.
Red Hook Interim Library is hosting a Blackout Poetry program on Monday, April 6 at 11:00 AM.
Blackout poetry, or erasure poetry, is a form of poetry created by erasing words from an existing text and framing the result on the page as a poem. It is low pressure and accessible to all.
We will take pieces of writing and create a new poems from them. Text and art supplies (to decorate your poem, if you wish) will be provided. This program is for all ages.
