💔 ROXXIE…RETURNED FOR WANTING TO SNUGGLE.
Yes, you read that right. 😭😭
This sweet, gentle, cat-friendly, 5 year old pitbull lost her home again… all because she wanted to curl up near her person’s face at night in bed.

We wish this was some sort of bad joke. She (and we) are absolutely heartbroken.

It wasn’t because she’s mean.
It wasn’t because she tore the house apart.
It wasn’t because she hated the other pets.

Returned because she wanted to be close to her people…and getting her off the bed (or training her to not get on the bed 🤔) was just too much work.

Her world has once again turned upside down, all because her desire for comfort was seen as a flaw.

Roxxie now spends her entire day curled into a ball in her kennel, shaking in fear, and not getting up to greet visitors. It’s a struggle to even get her to go outside.

Roxxie deserves a home where “too much affection” is never a problem. She deserves someone who will love her for wanting to be near, someone who understands that closeness & bonding isn’t a crime…it’s the whole point of adopting.
