We stayed in a lovely hotel in the dolomite’s while skiing. I’ve never stayed at such a thoughtfully designed hotel for parents. Every detail. But yet it still felt really nice for adults. Slides and jungle gyms in the lobby, a petting zoo, carefully orchestrated activities, amazing waterslides and pool, a kids sauna.

The most overlooked space in your home is the one you use every single day.

Entryways and mudrooms set the tone for everything that follows, how you arrive, how you leave, and how your home supports real life.

We think about these spaces as both a first impression and a daily system:
• Where things land
• How storage works
• What you see first
• How it feels to walk in

Done well, they make your entire home feel calmer and more intentional.

If your entry isn’t working as hard as it should, it might be time to rethink it.

Really fascinating to tour the new Brooklyn jail project with and for the mentorship meeting. A prefab jail cell as units so you can quickly install and everything is sealed for security and safety. Fascinating.
