We’re catching up with our ENG: Engineering the Next Generation alumni to see how their summer research at Columbia shaped their academic journeys. 🦁
For Masha Efimovich, the ENG program was about discovery—discovering her passion for the intersection of biomedical and mechanical engineering, and finding mentors who supported her growth every step of the way.
Today, she’s continuing that journey at Stanford University. 👩🎓

From a highly competitive pool of NYC’s brightest 11th graders, 44 students have been chosen to spend 6 weeks conducting research alongside Columbia Engineering faculty. 👩🔬
