The Snowy Owl 🦉 is a bird of prey that can be found in parts of North America and Eurasia. Unlike many owls that are nocturnal, Snowy Owls are diurnal, meaning they are active during daylight hours, particularly in the Arctic summer when the sun does not set for weeks ☀️ Snowy owls are stealthy hunters who stay virtually silent when in flight - This silent flight is facilitated by a unique structure of their feathers, which reduces flight noise by having a velvety texture that dampens the sound of air passing through 🪶

The Taos Pueblo, located in northern New Mexico, is an Unesco World Heritage Site that has been inhabited for over 1,000 years, making it one of the oldest continuously inhabited communities in the USA. The Pueblos are world renowned for their distinctive adobe buildings, characterized by their earth and straw construction. The structures are designed to blend harmoniously with the natural landscape. The residents maintain a traditional lifestyle and are well known for their pottery, weaving, and other artisanal skills. The Red Panda is an endangered species found in the Eastern Himalayas and Southwestern China. It is believed that there are less than 10,000 red pandas left in the wild. Red Pandas are actually not pandas and are more closely related to raccoons and skunks. They are said to bring good luck to anyone who encounters them. 🐾 Ross Park Zoo

The first European documentation of the falls was by a French Priest named Father Louis Hennepin in 1678, who was overwhelmed by the size and significance of the falls. Last night we witnessed The in Bay Head, New Jersey. The Perseids Meteor Shower has been observed and recorded for over 2,000 years, with the earliest known observations recorded in 36 AD by Chinese astronomers. The debris comes from the comet Swift-Tuttle and is known to produce up to 100 meteors an hour in ideal conditions. ☄️
