The entryway is the “handshake” of your home. It’s the first thing you see when you walk in and the last thing you see before you leave.

As a designer, I always prioritize three things in a family entry:

1️⃣ The Catch-all: A tray for keys/mail to stop the “where are my keys?!” morning meltdown.

2️⃣ The Perch: Stools or a bench for the shoe-on, shoe-off transition (essential for kids and guests alike!).

3️⃣ The Reflection: A mirror to bounce light and offer that final “teeth check” before heading out.

Function doesn’t have to sacrifice style. How does your entryway greet you?
