Today is World Book Day 🌍📚

We see it up close. A toddler in a WIC waiting room who recognizes her family in a picture book. A dad at the laundromat flipping through a bilingual story he'll read aloud at bedtime. A teenager at a school library who finds the one book that finally says it right. Books are joy.

Right now, books are being pulled from shelves and library funding is being cut. When a community loses access to books, it loses something bigger: the freedom to imagine and the tools to act.

So today we celebrate every shelf kept open. Every LIFT kit we've put in a family's hands. Every laundromat, clinic, and classroom we've turned into a reading space. Every reader who picked up a book and felt seen.
