I had the privilege of working on ads for the Harris/Walz campaign the last few months and though we made a lot of ads I’m proud of, this is the one she wanted to leave you with so it’s the one I’ll leave you with as well. Vote like our democracy depends on it, because it does.

Though Covid delayed this quite a bit, I've finally started the process of sending my thesis film, "The Academy," out to festivals and yesterday I found out it was a Semi-Finalist in the Oscar-qualifying Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival. Though it's ultimately not the result I wanted, it's nice to see it finally get some recognition... on to the next one!

Our state is on fire. I smell smoke nightly. This isn't new, but it's getting worse, and not just here, but up and down the west coast and several states inland. It's not just happening in more places, the fires are also getting bigger and harder to control.

To Bet The Farm (https://vimeo.com/148532823) is the third film I made at USC. There were limitations and there were tribulations, but I'm proud of the film, I don't believe I've ever shared it publicly and this seems like as good a time as any, as it's an allegory about the fire on the horizon and the imperative to change our ways before it's too late.
