✨ Thank you to Suzanne Kachmar for inviting me to join the fun on WPKN’s State of the Arts show hosted by Peggy Nelson and Mike Boland to talk about the Becoming Plastic show with Daniel Lanzilotta at City Lights Gallery, the Bridgeport Arts Trail, and Open Studios at AmFab Arts.

I am thrilled to be exhibiting work with Daniel, whom I have been friends with since 2007, and who (like me) has been involved in environmentalism for decades. Daniel’s thoughtful approach and intelligent perspective are coupled with a high level of skill and unique artistic talent.

🎨 Becoming Plastic opens Nov 6 | 5:30–8:30pm at City Lights Gallery and features a roster of artists with works made from or about the theme of plastic.

🗓️ The Bridgeport Art Trail runs Nov 6–Nov 8 and includes dozens of galleries, pop-ups, and open studios.

I’ll be giving tours of the world’s only Plastic Horse Rescue all weekend, along with a new installation on plastic pollution and horseshoe crab conservation at Seaside Park, sustainable fashion, and how microfibers, microplastics, and nanoplastics are invading our food and bodies.
