WC Casting

Hello there! I’m currently casting an upcoming action vertical drama “Return of the Reaper” for the platform ReelShort. This is a Non-Union production filming 12 days between January 09-20, 2026. Filming in San Antonio, Texas.

This is a confidential romantic series in the form of Mobisode (think TikTok Series which each episode runs 1-2 minutes). The series will be released on TikTok and ReelShort. Very short casting turnaround, so the casting process will be very short and quick. Our shooting window is January 9 -20, 2026. Each shooting day is 12 hours + lunch (unless otherwise specified in the character description). Please take this into consideration when evaluating rates.

Synopsis: An Assassin came out of retirement to save his family.

[Natalie] White/European. Visual Age 18, Female. Isaac's daughter. She's had a rough go of it since the death of her mother ten years ago. Her father has pretty much abandoned her, and she's had to raise herself. Despite this, she's a responsible, intelligence high school senior who makes a bad decision: She sneaks out to a nightclub that is a front for a human trafficking operation. The character is involved in many physical scenes where the character does get hurt (slapped, punched, falling on to the ground). A stunt coordinator will be on set to monitor and provide instructions. Stage Combat experience a plus but not required. [Cassius] Any Ethnicity, Male. Late 30s, his charming exterior hides an evil sociopath who may be the only person on earth as dangerous as Isaac. The most feared man in the Assassin's Guild yet always living in the shadow of the disappeared Isaac. When Isaac shows up, he assumes he's a fake and sets out to punish the imposter... brutally. [Dmitri] White / European. Male, late 20s-early 30s - slick, handsome mobster. Underneath his flashy looks lies an abhorrent predator. He's the one who originally abducts Natalie and later enjoys taunting Isaac about what he's going to do to her. He immediately understands the significance of kidnapping Isaac Kane's daughter, and throughout the show, is preparing himself for death. [Igor] White / European. Male, 30s, Son of Vasile, a violent, evil Russian mobster, without the honor or code of his father. He is the one responsible for getting into human trafficking, and he decides to deal with the Isaac’ situation the only way he knows how: through violence. He comes into the dungeon to teach the victims a lesson... not realizing he's about to have to deal with Isaac. He's meaner and more aggressive than the Responsible Lackey, whereas Responsible Lackey has a more professional demeanor, taking things more seriously. [Bank Teller] 20s-30s Female, Attractive, Respectable, British accent. Works at a bank but secretly a staff member of the Assassin ‘s Guild. Rate: $200/12 hr. day. Day Player.

[Eyepatch & Gold Teeth] Casting two roles. Any Ethnicity, Male, age 30s-40s. Aggressive Assassins – one with an Eyepatch and the other has Gold plated teeth. The characters are involved in some physical scenes where the character engaged in a physical fight, as well as handling prop guns & weapons (no real firearm). [PETYA] White / European Male, visual age 8 years old. Young solemn. He listens to a song and a monster story from his grandfather, before his father smacks him across the face. The character is involved in some physical scenes where the character does get hurt (slapped). A stunt coordinator will be on set to monitor and provide instructions. Storyline: Kidnapped as a child, Arthur, Duke of Mercia, returns to his village to reunite with his long-lost family. What he didn't expect was to find them abused by everyone in town. With his identity a secret, will Arthur be able to avenge them?

[Arthur Wellesley] Male, age 21-35. A young man in his prime. As a youth, he was kidnapped and conscripted into the army but earned the title of Duke on account of his battle prowess. He returns to Stamford to look for his parents and sister, but his memories are hazy due to a head injury in battle. Disguised as a commoner, he uncovers the real intention of his ‘devoted followers.’ And begins his revenge on those who had abused and tortured his family. The character is involved in fight scenes (Punching, Getting Punched, and lots of slapping). A stunt coordinator will be on set to provide instruction and monitor all cast members’ safety. Together with her husband Carl, they endure hardship, live in poverty, suffer through humiliation and abuse by a noble employer, with the goal of reuniting with their lost son. The Baron plotted to ‘offer’ Anna as a gift to the duke, without knowing they actually knew each other (of course, it backfired at him) The character is involved in physical assault and abuse scene, actions include falling onto the ground, slapping and getting slapped. When confronted by Arthur with receipts of his teams’ wrong doing; he tried his best to lie and redirect the fault to others. She is just as self-fish as her husband; in order to save her job, she allowed her son to place blame on her sister (Jane). Joins her husband and son in verbally abuses Jane and Anna. A woman who is both beautiful and fashionable, but with personality comparable to a cold-hearted snake (look into her eyes~ uh-oh… She's been tellin' lies~). Betrothed to Robert Wellesley. The sense of entitlement and audacity of how she treats ‘poor’ people will boil a lot of people’s blood. Arthur’s parents like trash. [King Ceolwulf II] Male, age 40-60. The King of Kingdom of Mercia, who highly favors Arthur and loves him like his own son. It’s a shame that the only good character in the story only has 30 seconds of screen time. It’s not about how big the role is, rather how much impact the smaller character can have.
