A first in my upcoming don't read/listen to this post serious. Don't read this post. Go out and do something fun instead. Put your phone down and leave it at home while you go out into the real world. Don't worry about what anybody thinks about you or what you are doing. Look at where you are with your eyes not your phone and don't take any pictures. Just be where you are in the moment. Social media won't solve your problems. It is just going to give you a whole bunch of new ones.

Xin Nian Kui Le!

新年快樂!

The Lunar New Year welcomes the Year of the Fire Horse, a symbol of energy, strength, and forward movement. In traditional Chinese culture, the Lunar New Year is the most significant holiday in the year.

The Horse represents vitality, perseverance, and a free spirit. It reminds us to move forward with courage and to live with enthusiasm and purpose.

The Year of the Horse encourages us to cultivate strong Qi, stay active, and maintain balance in body and mind. Just as the horse moves with grace and endurance, we are reminded to take steady steps toward better health and well-being.

This is a wonderful time to renew our commitment to self-care and more practice. Acupuncture is a healing form of self care which balances the mind, body, emotions and spirit. Gentle practices such as Qigong, Taiji, Kung Fu, Calligraphy, Meditation and other types of exercises with proper rest, nourishing food, and a peaceful mind help support the smooth flow of Qi and Blood throughout the year.

May the Year of the Horse bring you:

Strength and vitality

Good health

Steady progress

Harmony and Peace

Let us move into the new year with renewed energy and an open heart.- adapted from the Wen wu school
