Founded in 1971, ACT provides a safe haven where toddlers to teens from many faiths, cultures and economic backgrounds gather to learn, play and grow.
We are SO proud of all of our ACT PreK Graduates - what a wonderful year we have had together! We will miss you all and wish you long lives filled with wonder, joy, laughter and learning!

Merry Christmas to all!
The ACT PreK finished the first half of the school year by embracing holiday traditions, celebrating with our families and making 50 more cards for patients at Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital! We look forward to a New Year filled with good health, joy and learning!

Our Story
Adults and Children in Trust (A.C.T.), located on the 11-acre oasis of the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine campus on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, is an education center that provides year-round educational and recreational programs for infants, children and teens from 6 months to 17 years old. At A.C.T., we work with children from the very beginning. Once children are in school, we provide families with after-school care, holiday camps, summer camps and even party services for those special milestones in a child’s life.
