PONDER THIS! Mothers’ Day Second Sunday In May By Hazel Rosetta Smith

Mothers’ Day was designated in 1905 by Anna Jarvis as an auspicious occasion to celebrate biological mothers. She campaigned diligently to establish the day as a U.S. national holiday, and on May 8, 1914, the U.S. Congress passed a law declaring the second Sunday in May as Mothers’ Day.

Antoine Fugua’s “Michael” Is A Tour De Force Biopic About The King Of Pop! By Audrey J. Bernard Society Editor

On Monday April 20, 2026 from 7-10pm, Lionsgate hosted a spectacular premiere for the film “Michael” at the Dolby Theatre and TCL Chinese Theatre and transformed Hollywood Boulevard into a magical music wonderland replete with moving stars who moonwalked down the black sparkly carpet for the start of a spectacular evening.
