Chaos Transformed
I'm Angel Millar, life consultant, consulting hypnotist, and author of books on personal development.
A man's suit hides an esoteric secret.
(Why do you think Freemasons wear them?)
The traditional suit is designed to fit an "upright"-standing man.
"Upright" means a few things:
(1) A person sitting or standing upright.
(2) a vertical line in geometry.
(3) Honorable or honest behavior.
In Freemasonry, geometry, the physical body, and one's character are intertwined.
The physical reflects the mental and spiritual, and vice versa.
We instinctively know that the "upright" (i.e., honorable) person doesn't slouch around.
We instinctively know that their mind is sharp and their body has poise.
No matter how often we tell ourselves that the world is meaningless, we know that everything in it reveals its own nature, good or bad.
Fix your posture.
Train your body.
Educate your mind.
Cultivate your spirit.
Become a vehicle for what is greater than you or me.

A few years ago, I received a number of threats to my life. Here's what I learned.
Chaos is here. Empower yourself to transform and transcend it with my new book "Transcend the Chaos" (available for pre-order on Amazon and through other booksellers now).
Here's what Alex Kazemi, author of "Pop Magick: A Simple Guide to Bending Your Reality," says about it:
“Angel Millar provides us with the tools on how to transcend the chaos of modernity, by taking the axiom 'bring order to chaos' to new and exciting heights. A must-have for every person of ambition, consider it an invitation to show up for a new level of self-understanding and self-empowerment.”
Get it if you're ready.
Like it or not, chaos is coming.
You can either transcend it or be swept away by it.
I’ve chosen the first option.
In October (2025), my latest book, "Transcend the Chaos: Proven Integral Techniques for Emotional Control, Confidence, and Creativity" will be released (and is available for pre-order now).
Here’s what it will teach you:
Why chaos brings destruction for some and opportunity to others.
The forces underlying today’s societies and how to make them work for you.
Daily practices for all-round personal growth.
How to cultivate the right mindset.
How hypnotists have influence (and how you can too).
How to use language and behavior for persuasion (and how not to be influenced by linguistic tricks used by others, as well as by the media).
Techniques of stress management and relaxation for daily rejuvenation.
And how to think outside the box to thrive and survive in an age of disruption that will negatively affect tens of millions of people.
My previous book was The Path of the Warrior-Mystic: Being a Man in an Age of Chaos.
In that book, I explored the nature of the spiritual decline (or the emptying out of “purpose” and “meaning”) in modernity.
My journey has taken me from dirty and dead-end jobs in my late teens, in England, to moving abroad (to Canada and the USA), becoming an Editor-in-Chief, author of multiple books, speaker on symbolism and self-transformation at events across the USA, and certified hypnotist.
My journey wasn’t easy. I made a lot of mistakes and wasted a lot of time.
As a young person, I was easily stressed and didn’t know how to overcome the limitations of my surroundings.
But I contained my fears. I controlled and channeled my stress. And, slowly, I mastered myself and my surroundings (in whichever country I resided).
You only get so many chances in life.
Make no mistake, if you do not master chaos, it will master you.
Don’t let it.
Transcend the chaos.
Why the sword represents the intellect in ceremonial magic. (The parts hold all the secrets.)
Your week ahead... and, Uh oh... The "Hanged Man" Tarot card. Bad news or good news? The rune "Ior" will tell you what you need to know.
"We forget our encounters with the sacred, but beauty makes us remember it. And it makes us remember it by making us feel whole."—a couple of lines from my book "The Path of the Warrior-Mystic."
This morning, I visited Central Park. Here I'm at the Naumburg Bandshell, built just over a century ago.
Long live the sacred.
Is an ancient Norse term the key to understanding initiation? Is something really passed from initiator to initiate that is more than intellectual? If so, does the self-initiator miss out on this vital aspect of initiation? Let me know what you think.
