An important announcement from WAW's Undergraduate Scholarships for Afghan Students-Lebanon project announcing that a new round of scholarship applications are now open for 29 more students for the Education for Leadership in Crisis Scholarship program (ELC) to support the education of qualified female students from Afghanistan at the American University of Beirut (AUB).
Last year, WAW and the AUB, launched the program, which is supported by the U.S. Department of State, with 16 female Afghan students. More on this story in the following post!

Our Story
Women for Afghan Women’s Summer Leadership is open to girls and boys between 10 to 20 years of age. Our programs consists of social justice education, advocacy trainings, college-readiness, personal development, photography, and art. Our leaders are advocates for our communities and make us proud everyday!
The program is held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11am to 3pm at our New York Community Center:
