It is with immense sadness that we share that our colleague and friend, Derick Kamina, passed away unexpectedly last week.
For those who had the privilege of knowing Derick, his passion for strengthening healthcare delivery globally will live on in memory. He was a gentle leader whose dedication to biomedical engineering leaves a legacy of compassion, expertise, and service. His impact on patients, providers, hospitals, and Gradian as a whole is immeasurable.
We are simply heartbroken by this loss and share in the pain his family, friends, and colleagues are experiencing in his absence.
As we grieve, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding regarding a way forward for the work and legacy Derick leaves behind. We will be sure to share more about how we will carry forward in Derick’s honor in the coming weeks.
