HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE SYRUP ✨

skip the high fructose corn syrup, potassium sorbate, mono- and diglycerides, polysorbate 60 + other additives and make your own chocolate syrup with 5 simple ingredients you likely already have on hand!
YOU NEED
(use organic ingredients when possible)
* 1/3 c hot water, filtered
* 1/2 c unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1/3 c maple syrup
* 1/2 tsp vanilla
* 3 dashes of sea salt
WHAT TO DO
- add everything to a mason jar + shake to combine
store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, it’ll thicken once refrigerated
for chocolate milk: 2-3 tbsp per 8 oz of milk, depending how chocolatey you like it 🍫
you can also use it as an ice cream topping 🍨, or add to your coffee for a healthier mocha ☕️!
