However, history serves as a testament to the enduring relevance of print books. Recently, Vice President, Kamala Harris, condemned Florida’s new Black History Curriculum, which will include lessons on how “slaves developed skills” that can be used for personal benefit. This intention is to give the false impression that slavery was beneficial to enslaved people, when in fact, it was the polar opposite.

‘They insult us with the intent to gaslight us and we will not stand for it. We who share a collective experience in knowing we must honor history in our duty in the context of legacy. There is so much at stake in this moment,’ said Vice President Harris.”
