Our SaaS products and team of Economists specialize in the valuation of social and environmental impacts to real estate and infrastructure, and these projects provide our team with a diverse array of benefits to account for. As compared to a traditional redevelopment, this approach preserves heritage buildings and revitalizes neighbourhoods, adds affordable housing supply, and invests in community spaces and high-performance sustainable design elements such as zero on-site carbon, Passive House Certification, mass timber framing, and living green roofs. These design elements drive social and environmental impacts we’ve been able to value to support the development team in their planning, reporting, and engagement activities. We’d love to see this hybrid approach used more broadly.
