For 50 years, CitizensNYC has invested in bottom-up solutions, trusting local business owners and neighbors who see what their community needs and step up to make it happen. With the right financial tools and a focus on intentional growth, Sibtay moved from navigating uncertainty to mastering strategy. Today, he is scaling with purpose: advancing SOC 2 compliance, bringing on additional contractors, and building a business designed for technical excellence and long-term stability.​

We are proud to announce that Ascendus was awarded $7,000 from The Moses Kimball Fund to support our 2026 Greater Boston Small Business Lending and Financial Education Program. This funding empowers low- to moderate-income (LMI) business owners with access to capital and financial education resources.​

Through this partnership, we will provide extensive financial education to 200 Greater Boston small businesses, with 49 receiving $980,000 in critical capital to grow their businesses. We have partnered with the Moses Kimball Fund since 2015 to support the needs of the Greater Boston community.​
