STA7CK (pronounced 'Stark'), a Cote d’Ivoire-born DJ/producer, has been at the forefront of NYC's afro house movement, pioneering BKLYN's underground hit party 'Rhythm of Afrika' He pushed the scene forward by bringing over numerous emerging African artists (such as the now famous Black Coffee) to NYC to play at his events. and gained recognition as an artist in his own right, pioneering a sound that The New Yorker described as "jamming hard-edged club rhythms together with transcendent Afrobeats"
