ESKW/Architects was proud to attend CHPC’s 66th Annual Luncheon last week, celebrating New York City’s housing and planning community. Congratulations to this year’s honorees: Baisley Pond Park Residences (Slate Property Group & RiseBoro Community Partnership), Richard Buery & Alec Schierenbeck of the 2025 NYC Charter Revision Commission, policy journal Vital City, and NYC HPD’s Michael Sandler.

A standout moment was Mayor Mamdani’s announcement of a first-of-its-kind city-backed insurance program to reduce premiums for affordable and rent-stabilized housing, targeting 100,000 homes by 2030. A bold step toward addressing one of the fastest-growing cost drivers in affordable housing.

With Partner KimberlyMurphy joining CHPC’s board this year, we look forward to deepening our connection with CHPC and continuing our support of its vital mission for years to come.
