I think you'll love this salty cheesy recipe, the golden crust, yum! Alelletti al Forno is a recipe older than time but so delicious! From Sicily, with love! Tiny pasta rings with rich ragù, cradled in béchamel, studded with salty cheesy goodness and crowned with a golden crust. A recipe older than time but my goodness is it one of Italians biggest treasures! Recipe: 1lb Anellini Pasta, cooked 3 minutes shy of being done 1.5 qt of meat sauce (recipe for my specific meat sauce is in my book and I added 1 cup of peas) For the Bechamel 1-4 cup butter 1/4 cup flour 2 cups whole milk S&P to taste For the filling: 4oz of provolone 4oz prosciutto 2 hard boiled eggs 4oz of mozzarella Breadcrumbs Plenty of parm Bake at 425 for 30ish minutes. 09/20/2025
