At CAW, we are invested in developing young people to meet the challenges of the modern workforce, whether they ultimately choose to pursue a creative career or not. Our Character Design and Advanced Illustration & Worldbuilding programs are paid internships offered at four NYC Career and Technical Education (CTE) High Schools.

Each year, we choose design winners and superlatives for each CTE school, plus a grand prize winner and runner-up. Today, we wish to congratulate our Interns from Chelsea CTE high School: Runner-Up Americk Davis for their character Fari the angel and Winner Ayana Badeeva for their character Casper.

These programs are supported by Transcend, an investment fund for video games and interactive entertainment.

🦒 Giraffe Path | Lace up your sneakers! We’re teaming up with Hike the Heights for a day of trail exploration and creativity.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Annual Benefit for Kids. It was a banner night!

The energy in the Savoy Club-GM Building on May 30 was electric as more than 500 guests mingled to the sound of live jazz while enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Leading sponsors enjoyed exceptional wines and champagne donated from the personal collection of Neil & Bari Goldmacher during the VIP cocktail hour.

More than 30 youth apprentices and high school students were on hand to act as docents in our youth art gallery, sparking engaging conversations with guests. The gallery included paintings, sculptures, videos, graphic art, mixed media, and character designs.
