FTA applicants pick up their potential forever friend from our office the day they arrive. With full support from our team, you’ll have an entire week to bond and see if it’s the right fit for you and the pup. We’ll even supply fresh food courtesy of !

Not sure at the end of the week? No harm no foul! We just ask you keep fostering for a minimum three weeks.

What’s there to lose? Test out your potential bestie AND help a dog take their freedom flight and get that much closer to happily ever after.

Reina is truly the Queen of Goldens - she’s 5 years old and a dainty 55lbs! She came to us in one of our spay/neuter clinics in South Korea, where we’ve been helping the overpopulation crisis by spaying/neutering dogs kept outside in the countryside. Occasionally when we help a family, they decide to surrender to give their dog a better life. Lucky for Reina, her former family knew she deserved royalty treatment. 

Golden girls do it best and Reina is no exception. Of course she’s just happy to be included and will have her classic golden smile even in the most mundane settings. When lounging around the house with her foster family, she often stares lovingly at them like there is no bad in the world. She loves a good bake in the sun and carries her chew toys around like a toddler with a dolly. Seriously, Reina makes our hearts flutter she’s so sweet!

Reina is very curious but slightly overwhelmed so far when exploring the busy city, so she’ll need consistent guidance in the beginning. Learning the NYC hustle isn’t easy for such a mellow girlie! She also would benefit from continued crate training to make sure she doesn’t get TOO attached to her humans ;)

Myongwang is absolutely the silliest pup we’ve seen in a while and photos only capture a fraction of her goofy personality! She’s two years old and a noodle shaped 35lbs. Don’t let that number fool you, she’s linguine, not rigatoni!

Though she is still adjusting to the big city, Myongwang’s curiosity is through the roof. She’s already figured out the lay of the land in her foster home and now inspects anything unfamiliar as much as she can. Silly girl still has a lot to learn about - she was caught grumbling at her own reflection in a mirror just yesterday. Her crate training and house training is going well, but she’s still building up confidence outside. With plenty of practice and encouragement she’ll be walking the neighborhood like it’s a runway in no time.

By the hour, she continues to show more and more of her character and truly has her fosters laughing at every new thing. From her long tongue that seems to have a mind of its own, to her polite demands for pets, she will definitely be the highlight of any home.
