The Building Blocks Foundation

Today this 53-foot beast came to deliver over 100,000 pairs of Bombas Socks to be delivered to the NYC Public Schools as part of this year's Building Blocks Foundation sock donation.

We were also very fortunate to have the support of The Tree ARMY Co, a Bronx native, veteran-owned tree-cutting service company, to help in this critical mission.

What I love about this year's event is that as the founder of The Building Blocks Foundation, being a Bronx native and a veteran Marine myself, this year we built a comradery with a fellow Bronx native who is an Army veteran, Nick from The Tree ARMY Co to make this year's donation possible for students across the five Boroughs.

The Building Blocks Foundation's mission is to provide essential clothing for children in need in the NYC Public Schools so they can focus on the education needed to afford a bright future.

Twas the 20th of December and all throughout the Bronx and Manhattan I drove my sleigh (Uhaul) with 8 reindeer (cylinders) to over 25 schools delivering 30,000+ Bombas socks to those in need.

A tremendous thank you to our donors, Bombas, and the amazing principals, community directors, and teachers at the participating schools for reaching out and helping your students.

100% of the donations we receive go towards the cause of providing essential clothing for the NYC Public schools students living in shelters or temporary housing.

Help Needed

We got a call today from the school serving the Bronx neighborhood where the recent apartment building fire happened. They are asking for donations for the families who lost everything.
