*Patient presenting with blistering cutaneous photosensitivity:
¤ PCT (Porphyria Cutanea Tarda) -most common porphyria
¤ deficiency of UROD(Uroporphyrinogen decarboxylase)
¤ Raised uroporphyrin in urine,wine red colored urine voided.
* Patient presenting with severe abdominal pain, constipation, psychological disturbances:
¤ Think of AIP(Acute Intermittent Porphyria):
¤ 2nd most common porphyria
¤ Deficiency of Porphobilinogen deaminase
¤ Raised levels of PBG(Porphobilinogen), ALA(Delta Amino Levulinic Acid) in urine
* Urine turns dark purple after exposure to uv light and exposure to air after 24 hrs.

Aphasia: language deficit
* Broca's Aphasia:
¤ Non fluent aphasia,broken speech
¤ but intact comprehension
¤ Broca's area: inferior frontal gyrus of frontal lobe
* Wernicke's Aphasia:
¤ Fluent speech which makes no sense
¤ Impaired comprehension
¤ Wernicke area: superior temporal gyrus of temporal lobe.
