Yesterday I walked through the Lower Broadway business district to hear directly from local businesses and residents about their concerns.

Joined by President Chris Bernardo, Central Ward Councilwoman , 2nd Precinct Captain Gerardo Rodriguez, and Essex County Community Affairs and CSO Officer Lorenzo, we listened and discussed actionable steps forward.

Partnerships like this will help deliver safer streets and a more vibrant business district. Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts. Your voice drives our work.

Grateful to join Essex County Commissioner Robert “Bobby” Mercado and Puerto Rican Day Parade Inc. President Griselle Ponce at the 5th Annual Festival del Pueblo this past Saturday at Branch Brook Park!

It was inspiring to see families come together to celebrate community, culture, and unity. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special day possible.
