Had a great afternoon yesterday supporting and his Civic Association at their annual golf outing. Always good to stand with organizations doing real work in our community.

I had a great afternoon with our seniors at our senior building’s indoor BBQ gathering. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and genuine conversations.

Yesterday I walked through the Lower Broadway business district to hear directly from local businesses and residents about their concerns.

Joined by President Chris Bernardo, Central Ward Councilwoman , 2nd Precinct Captain Gerardo Rodriguez, and Essex County Community Affairs and CSO Officer Lorenzo, we listened and discussed actionable steps forward.

Grateful to join Essex County Commissioner Robert “Bobby” Mercado and Puerto Rican Day Parade Inc. President Griselle Ponce at the 5th Annual Festival del Pueblo this past Saturday at Branch Brook Park!
