As a stylist I have learned my personality makes clients leave generous tips and my talent makes them rebook. Being approachable and down to earth makes your clients feel understood. Conversations with your clients should never make them feel like your words are rehearsed. Clients needs vary. As a stylist you must know how to prescribe the right regime for each individual that sits in your chair. Hair conversations should be easy and informative, for you as well as the client. A talented, educated, well-versed cosmetologist is hard to find! Your knowledge, personality and professionalism will open door while your talent may only open windows.
