Appy Trails Ranch

Today we sent BC KFS Golda Mieke or as we called her, Goldie, over the rainbow bridge. Goldie was the foundation mare of Appy Trails Ranch, so Bret and I could go riding together. Before we were breeders, we had Goldie and Doodles. Goldie was Brets horse for many years, and she became Kolins for 4-H, was ridden by friends and family and was a broodmare as well. She produced some amazing foals including MIA Miekes Firebird, MIA MitaKola Hemi, Shetank Bedonkadonk and MIA Chubs Bimbo Gali.

Hard decisions are being made as we deal with Brets medical issues.

This is one of my favorite pictures taken on the road in front of Appy Trails Ranch.
