Connecticut State Referee Program

The referees for today's semifinal all started officiating in local games in the United States. If you'd like to referee in Connecticut, new official training is underway.

Officials can learn new skills, make new friends, and earn money while being part of the game. New referee certification requires a combination of online and in-person courses. The online courses can be done at your own pace. Several in-person clinics are currently scheduled across the state. Congratulations to the US crew of Ismail Elfath, Corey Parker, and Kyle Atkins, who've been assigned to Wednesday's World Cup semifinal! This is the farthest into the knockout rounds that a US referee crew has ever been assigned at a Men's World Cup.
