2 large cans of peaches (one can drained, one can with juice) 1 cup brown sugar 2 cup white granulated sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1 stick of butter (for browning) 1 cup self-rising flour 1 cup white granulated sugar (for batter) 1 cup milk Cinnamon (for sprinkling into batter) Pour 2 large cans of peaches in a pot over medium heat (drain one can, keep the juice from the other). Add brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla extract, tablespoon cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Cook for about 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. In a separate pan, brown butter and pour it into a casserole dish. In a bowl, mix self-rising flour, white sugar, milk, and a sprinkle of cinnamon until well combined. Pour batter into the casserole dish with the browned butter, then add the peach mixture on top without stirring. Bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool before serving, and top with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy! 10/20/2024
