Please join us in congratulating Christopher Hollis of Service Electric Company on being selected as SELCAT’s Foreman of the Month for June 2026!

Christopher was nominated by his coworker and apprentice, Marquise Cooper, who described him as the kind of foreman every apprentice hopes to work for.

“One of his greatest strengths is his ability to teach and develop his crew. He takes the time to explain tasks, shares his knowledge, and ensures everyone understands the work being performed. Because of his guidance, crew members become more confident, productive, and skilled in their jobs.”

Marquise also shared that Christopher’s attention to detail has become legendary among the crew. “Around the job site, we often joke that he has ‘the eyes of a tape measure’ and can ‘see like an eagle.’ His ability to accurately judge measurements, spot potential issues before they become problems, and maintain high-quality standards helps keep projects running smoothly and efficiently.”

Beyond his technical skills, Christopher creates a culture where everyone feels valued. “He treats everyone with respect, encourages teamwork, and always has his crew’s back. His leadership builds trust and morale, making people want to work hard and support one another. He understands that successful projects come from strong relationships as much as a strong work ethic.”

Christopher’s dedication to apprentices has also made a lasting impression on the SELCAT team.
