Essex Engineering is a long-time well-established Machine /Fabrication shop located in Lynn Massachusetts. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager

Responsibilities include:

· Overall direction of our Quality Management System.

· Working directly with our manufacturing departments

· Monitoring and improving the quality of our production processes and finish goods. This includes developing and improving quality standards with respect to raw materials, process controls, and finished goods.

· Provide support and guidance to the quality inspectors

· Oversee the companies QMS, including verifying all processes are being followed properly, maintain all quality records, and lead ongoing quality meetings with management team on status of all ongoing quality topics

· Create inspection documentation and oversee validations for all new product introduction

· Conduct quality audits of all manufacturing processes to identify and report non-compliance issues.

· Develop and manage KPI's as part of continuous improvement to identify and evaluate opportunities Provide guidance to suppliers to ensure consistency of quality and delivery that align with company needs

· Oversee and maintain all records regarding the disposition of nonconforming material (internal & customer supplied)

· Communicate directly with customers regarding all quality topics

Prerequisites skills needed:

· Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills
The ability to work well, independently, or within a team
Strong working knowledge of ISO standards and compliance

· Ability to interpret customer drawings and Specifications

· Demonstrated experience developing and supporting Quality Standards that drive continuous improvement.

· Organization / Prioritization skills.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Good working knowledge of Excel and Reporting

Education / Certifications Required:
Quality related certifications

Our client is an industry leading financial services software company located north of Boston off Route 2. They are doing well, building out their engineering team, and embarking on a big new development effort this year. They offer a great, collaborative culture, flexible work hours, and work life balance as well. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with full stack asp.net MVC experience including SQL, CSS, Javascript, Angular or React. The best fit candidate for this role is someone who can work independently, as a member of a smaller team, participating in key architectural and design decisions, and taking ownership of product modules.
