1. Slippage on the hose fitting.
2. Check the cover for signs of cracking, cutting or any exposure of reinforcements.
3. Stiffness, hardness, heat cracks and damages or a charred hose.
4. Corroded or cracked fittings.
5. Leaks around the fitting and through the hose.
6. Twisted, flattened, crushed or severely kinked hose.
7. Soft, degraded, blistered or a very loose cover.
