Putzel President, Nick Young, serves on the Board of Directors for IEC Atlanta & Georgia, which celebrated the opening of its newly renovated 27,500-square-foot Training Center in Peachtree Corners last month. The newly renovated larger facility provides a dedicated home for apprenticeship education, workforce development and continuing training for electrical professionals across the region.

Just weeks after the Training Center’s grand opening, members of the Putzel team were there for IEC’s two-day Foreman Training – The Art of Creating Superior Leaders program. The course focused on the skills that help strong electricians become strong field leaders — including planning, communication, jobsite relationships and leadership responsibilities.

For Putzel, supporting IEC and investing in our own people are part of the same commitment: strengthening the electrical workforce today while developing the leaders who will carry our industry forward.

We value our relationship with our client Batson-Cook Construction on the construction of a new Linear Accelerator vault at Cherokee Canton Hospital.
